  • My name is Tanja Suhinina.

  • It really is Tatjana Suhinina, but the only people who get away with Tatjana are officials and my father.

  • It really really is Сухинина Татьяна Андреевна.

  • I was born 25/03 1984.

  • In Leningrad, Russia, USSR.

  • When I was three years old, I moved to Olaine, Latvia, USSR with my mom.

  • When I was seven, the USSR fell apart, traumatizing me for the rest of my life.

  • On Christmas 1995 I moved to Stockholm, Sweden.

  • Where I've been living since.

  • In High School I studied Sam-Kultur, Sivics and Culture. I graduated 2003.

  • After that I took a year of maths, chemistry and physics to get into tech school.

  • I've studied Engineering Physics at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH

  • After a year I dropped out and decided to study Psychology instead.

  • To get to psych school, you need one year of working experience.

  • Which is exactly what I spent 2006 on.

  • I've been studying Psych since January 2007 and I'm lovin' it.



  • My working experience was as a phone sex operator

  • I had an anonymous Swedish blog about it called Phonephucker.

  • I'm currently working on a blok based on the blog. It was released by Hydra Förlag in September 2007.

  • I draw comics, both on my own and as a part in Studio Stanja.

  • I'm fluent in three languages: Russian, Swedish and English. Not by virtue, but because I had no choice.

  • Other languages I have studied are Latvian, French, Italian, Latin and Greek.

  • I can understand some German, Spanish, Slavic languages and Danish and Norwegian. Italian, however, I understand nothing of.

This blog is written in (in order of textmass) English, Swedish and Russian, depending on the subject and my skills. English is officially the first language, and the Swedish posts normally concern Swedish politics or comment Swedish articles, so you don't miss out anything important. Russian is quite uncommon, and I only write in Russian when no other language works.
I occasionally use Greek characters. Mostly to write λωλ.
